We are Kansas City based and specialize in the performing arts -- your job is NOT too small. Shooting a theatrical performance requires a different technique and range of experience than shooting a wedding. If your production or venue would like a taping of a performance for publicity, submission for grants, or even an audition tape we would be happy to work with you to meet your needs. We can also work with you to create a demo reel from your stock footage of past performances from any media.

Standard Rates - with single camera package. Unless advised differently, a single camera package consists of:
1 Canon HX-A1 camera-(a professional, full-sized HDV camera), fluid head tripod, obtaining a house audio feed OR using a single microphone (wired or wireless) going straight into camera, and shooting with available lighting.

20% Discount on standard rates for 501(c)3 Organizations.
$125 Half day rate (up to 5 hours - Set-up and Tear-down time typically take 2 hours of this time)
$250 Full day rate (up to 10 hours - Set-up and Tear-down time typically take 2 hours of this time)
Half day turns into full day rate after the fifth hour.
Full day turns into overtime after the tenth hour. Overtime is billed @ $40 per hour after 10 hours.
* Travel Considerations: Travel to and from one location included FREE in the prices above. Travel costs to second or other locations provided by the client. Travel costs outside Kansas City are based on fair accepted standards, for example, 48.5 cents per mile for auto travel and, for multi-day trips, the State accepted per diem for the location and business class accommodations.
* Deposit Required A deposit of 1/2 the fee is required prior to any event. The fee is non-refundable. $50.
* 10% Discount for full payment in advance.
* For events that are under 3 hours there are additional discounts.
* Half day rate: 5 hours or less portal to portal, does not include transportation, expendables such as tapes or batteries.
*Full Day Rate: 10-hour or less portal to portal, does not include transportation, expendables such as tapes or batteries.
$25.00 / hour Long term/non-time specific A/V - Computer Tech work, Editing.
Compression to formats for CD-ROM, DVD and Web-based delivery (such as REAL, Quicktime or Windows Media File Formats) are available but not specifically detailed. If these services are desired, prices will be estimated on a case-by-case basis.
IFILMKC uses only professional equipment including:
- The Canon HX-A1 Professional Camcorder. The XH A1 captures true 1080 High Definition resolution video at 60i, 30F or 24F frame rates. It captures a true 16:9 widescreen HD image that's made specifically for broadcast and theatrical projects.
- Manfrotto Fluid Head Tripod
- Sennheiser ME66 Shotgun Microphone & Sennheiser EW100eng g2 ew100 Lavaliere Wireless Microphone System.
- Professional lighting including three standard photographer's lights and a Canon Video Light VL-10Li II.
- Green Screen available.
- MAC PRO Workstation utilizing Final Cut PRO video editing software.
